Altyrian Interns

Although I have already learned a lot since I started interning here at Altyris, today definitely took the cake as the biggest learning day so far. This morning John taught Eunhee and me about the different types of press releases and assigned two for me to write. I really enjoyed getting an opportunity to do some writing and learned a lot.

Today also provided us the opportunity to sit in on a meeting with some representatives from local television stations. We learned all about the buying and selling of ad time on TV and got to see a lot of what goes into the decisions of where, when and how much to advertise on television. I thought it was really great that the television reps were so eager to sit down and give Eunhee and me a lesson on their industry. I am excited to be learning so much so early in the internship.
